 Feedback:

The weather has been kind to us for a few days so hopefully Ryk will be able to get his team onto the course and give the fairways a welcome cut. When the course is so wet and growth limited it makes sense for us to keep the heavy equipment off the fairways, so we appeal to those using carts to use the pathways and stay off the fairways until we can get them a bit firmer.

Although we continue with our efforts to keep the developers in line and I am sure that you all agree that the entrance at the moment is a disgrace. We appeal to you for your patience while we throw all our toys out of the cot with the developers. We will continue to seek their cooperation as we will have them as neighbours for many months so have to find a solution that is going to work for us in the long run. Our apologies to you our members for the mess, we are doing our best the take corrective action

Staffing matters:

The final interviews have been completed after an exhaustive elimination process in our efforts to find the right Manager for the Club. The Committee will make their final decision on Wednesday evening so next week's bulletin will be dedicated to promoting the new club manager. Our new receptionist and admin assistant starts later this week and I am sure that you will find Monique as helpful and obliging as befits the friendliest Club in the Western Cape. Please introduce yourself to her and help her to find her feet.

Rules corner

A reminder to those over clubbing the 6 th green, the dropping zone is only there if you land in the ditch and not if you are out of bounds over the ditch and over the shade cloth. Sorry in this case its reload at the point where you hit the ball from.
